Stop the South Tahoe Vacancy Tax is a coalition of South Lake Tahoe taxpayers, residents, business groups and community leaders who are working to defeat “Vacancy Tax” Measure which is on the ballot in the City of South Lake Tahoe in November of 2024.
We are organized as a ballot measure committee filed under California law to oppose the measure, and the formal name of the committee is:
Stop the Divisive, Unfair and Unaccountable Vacancy Tax, a Coalition of South Tahoe Residents, Local Small Businesses, Real Estate Professionals, and Taxpayers – sponsored by REALTORS® and Tahoe Chamber of Commerce. (ID# 1468756).
